Regina Ukrainian Language Sadochok Pre-School
Sadochok is the Ukrainian word for Kindergarten. The Regina Sadochok operates in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. It provides children from 3 to 5 years of age with a Ukrainian language pre-school program that encourages learning through play, and offers a variety of rich cultural experiences through language, songs, games, crafts and stories. The program also helps children to develop social skills that prepare them for Kindergarten.
No previous knowledge of the Ukrainian language is necessary. As they attend, the students will learn Ukrainian words, numbers and phrases through activities involving music, art, physical activity, creative play, and Ukrainian language audio and video tools.
Sadochok operates under the umbrella organization of UCC (Ukrainian Canadian Congress) of Regina. It offers a wholesome environment based on Christian values, but is a nondenominational program and welcomes all students.
A spacious classroom and limited enrollment enables the teacher to provide a variety of activities and personal attention to each child.
